Wonderful skies over Canford Heath

Tuesday 14th January 2014

This morning we had bright sunshine again, so while Jez stayed at home snoozing in the sun, Max and I went to Canford Heath for a slightly longer than average walk. There was a slight frost in the shady areas, but up on top of the heath it was lovely and sunny. And the skies were wonderful. this was the view over Poole, where there was quite a bit of cloud cover.

View of Poole

But if you faced anywhere other than south west / west then it was a different story.

This was taken from the main path looking north east.

Tree and sky

And this was taken looking east along the old coach road.

And no, I haven’t saturated those skies – but I was trying out the polarising filter again. I think we can safely say it works.

One last, obligatory, photo – Max.

Throw it then!

I think after this brief interlude we are back to rain again.
