We got round in the dry today!

Monday 10th February 2014

Rain is forecast, and the weather is a mixture of sunshine and dark clouds today. Being ‘bin day’ I had both dogs with me for our walk across to Upton Heath this morning. This was the view as we walked onto the Heath at the Beechbank Avenue entrance.

The contractors are still working on the Heath, and today I saw they had taken a digger onto the Heath. This is what they’ve done to the track just across from the Roman Road.

So much for a good track for emergency vehicles

So much for having a decent path for any emergency vehicles.

Further on and the skies were looking a little grey.

There was still some blue sky around though, as you can see by the reflections in this puddle.

And finally, it’s not all grey on the Heath. Luckily gorse blooms all year round providing bright spots along our route.
