A sunny morning meant snoozing on the bed in the sun for Jezebel, so I took Max to Upton Country Park this morning. The breeze was a bit chilly, but otherwise it was a lovely morning, as this view over Upton Lake (the top end of Poole Harbour) shows.
Max took full advantage of the water facilities at the park: firstly in the lake.
Now that lake is not that colour. It’s a sort of muddy brown, but in that photo what you are seeing is a reflection of the sky. And then it was on to the stream.
As you may have noticed, I took the best camera with me today, hoping for more signs of spring. We didn’t really see any, except this lovely little crocus, all on it’s own in the lawn near the house.
We saw the buzzard too, but I didn’t have the right lens with me today to get a decent photo of him – he was too far away in the field. And although the weather was better today it is still pretty muddy round the park: which meant I had a very dirty dog to hose down when I got home.
