Another damp morning

Thursday 22nd May 2014

It was raining when I set out for our walk this morning, so only Max and I went to Upton Country Park. Fortunately the rain eased off once we got there. The Woodland Walk was looking a bit damp though.

That rhododendron climp you can see is the only one left in the walk. The only reason I can think of why they might have left it when they cleared the rest last year is that there is a badger set around there somewhere, and I’m assuming it’s on that bit of hillside.

Only one other photo for you today – Max in the lake.

Otherwise there was nothing really worth photographing as it was pretty damp and grey.

In the afternoon and evening I visited Dad. He’s feeling better and today I took him out in a wheelchair for a bit of fresh air. It cheered him up a lot and made him feel a lot better.

Another grey day. Max and I went to Ham Common and the beach there.
