A visit to Upton Country Park

Friday 18th July 2014

After yesterday’s excitement and possibly too much cake, Jez decided to stay in bed this morning. So Max and I went to Upton Country Park. Max might have been there quite a bit with Chris while I’ve been away but it was the first time I’ve been there in two months.

We say the mallards on the lake…

… and a woodpidgeon on a seat along the path.

And then Max headed for the stream.

In the afternoon and evening the weather forecasters had predicted rain and thunderstorms and we had both at around midnight. Max slept through it all, but Jez was very upset by the thunder. And more is forecast for tomorrow.

After a walk over Canford Heath in the morning, Chris and I took the dogs down to Sandbanks in the evening.
