I try to give Max a bit of variation

Monday 22nd September 2014

So this morning I took Max around Creekmoor Ponds as usual, as it’s a short walk for him. Poor boy must be getting sick of all these short walks around the Ponds, but at least there are lots of nice smells about, since as well as other dogs and cats there are badgers, foxes, squirrels and lots of other wildlife. This was the view across the pond closest to us.

Later on I took Jez round there too, and took this photo of one of the Danger signs which was nicely reflected in the water.

Danger!

Just before supper time I thought I’d take Max out again but decided to give him a change so that boredom doesn’t set in, so we went to the Roman Road. Max was VERY happy. Here he is bathed in late afternoon sunlight in the stream.

We walked along the Roman Road and back through the woods, where I spotted this very knobbly Birch Bracket Fungus…

… and this Boletus.

Max, Jez and I went to Canford Heath for our walk.
