Sorry there was no post for yesterday. Jez, Max and I went to Broadstone Rec. for our walk, but it was another miserable, overcast day so there was really nothing to photograph there that I haven’t already photographed on similar days recently.
Today though there was at least a hint of sunshine first thing, although it was pretty chilly. I was surprised, therefore, when Jez decided that she was going to come with Max and I for a second day running. We went to Upton Country Park, but by the time we got there the sun had pretty much disappeared.
We started off through the Woodland Walk, and then Max chased a stick in the lake a couple of times, until he got confused and just stood there looking at me, at which point we moved on. Walking along the pathway we came across two Weimaramers we know, one of whom had a very big stick that she did not want to put down.
We walked on round and while Max played in the stream I took a photo of Jez sitting on the bank.
As I said earlier, the sun had pretty much disappeared, but the light today was really interesting and made for a lovely photo from the boardwalk looking towards Poole.
It was a shame I didn’t have one of the better cameras with me.
And so we walked on. Down by the shoreline there was a very large gathering of Canada Geese, but the photos I got today weren’t as good as the one I took last week, so I haven’t bothered posting them. We walked on around by the front of the house where the sheep were in the field. Jez got very excited as she always does when she sees sheep. She raced along the fence and the sheep rapidly ran in the other direction, but not very far. They then turned and watched us suspiciously.
And so we came to the end of our walk for today, and hurried home to get in the warm.
A year ago today
We went for a walk on Canford Heath.
