It was quite cold this morning, although no real frost. Jezebel declined my invitation for her to join Max and I on our walk, so only the two of us went to Canford Heath. We had a lovely blue sky, which made for some great reflections in the murky pond near the Gravel Hill entrance to the heath.
And here’s one from a slightly different angle of just the fir tree.
Waling on and the stand of fir trees was looking rather nice in the sunlight and shade.
A bit further on still and I loved the sun behind this pine tree. Sadly the photo doesn’t really do it justice.
You may recall the frosted log from last week. Well this week it was wet and slick.
Max went and had a play in his favourite gully and the stream and then we headed back to the car. On the way back I noticed that the cows were nicely framed under one of my favourite trees.
And that was the trees for today. But I’m going to leave you with one more photo – a somewhat grumpy looking Max.
A year ago today
It was a little bit flooded along the Roman Road on Upton Heath.
