A bit of a damp one

Monday 12th January 2015

We didn’t get particularly wet, it was just a damp grey morning when Jez, Max and I went for our usual Monday walk on Upton Heath. Once again I got Chris to drive me over there and then walked the dogs home via Creekmoor Ponds. When we arrived on the heath this morning though, we were greeted with contractors for the electricity company cutting back the trees under the power lines again.

Other than that, our walk on the heath was pretty uneventful.

As I said, we came back via Creekmoor Ponds, where I spotted this cormorant.

And then, just as we approached home, the sun came out. Typical!

A year ago today

We had a grey, damp walk on Canford Heath, where I took this photo of some silver birch trees.
