Jez tries out the new walk at Upton Country Park

Thursday 15th January 2015

As usual, Jez deciding to join us on our morning walk took me by surprise, but as there was some sunshine I decided that today was a good day to introduce her to the new walk at Upton Country Park. We got there to find a large bonfire, where the workmen are burning off the scrub and branches they are still clearing.

Someone's having a large bonfire

Despite the title of this blog I didn’t manage to get any photos of Jez on the new paths, mainly because the sun went in and it was all a bit grey, cold and miserable for a lot of our walk. You might just be able to make her out in the shadow of the bridge in this photo of Max, however.

Max stands patiently by the stream

We walked on round to the stream to find it flooded after all of the overnight rain we had (and this was despite the fact it was still low tide). Max still wanted to play in it though.

And that’s about it for today. We walked on round over the boardwalk, and then cut up through the gardens back to the car.

A year ago today

We went to Canford Heath where we met the cows and a working party.

The cows want some elevensies too
